Canvas on Demand Donates Canvases for Auction Benefitting Organization’s Fight Against Homelessness
Television personality Ty Pennington will represent Canvas on Demand, a CafePress Inc. (Nasdaq: PRSS) e-commerce website, and its sponsorship of the “Pacesetters” photography exhibition supporting Back on My Feet New York City, a for-purpose 501(c)3 organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness transform their own lives and achieve employment and independent living. Pennington will speak at the Back on My Feet New York City Birthday Bash, Presented by the New York City Marriott Business Council.
The “Pacesetters” exhibit begins at 6:30pm on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the New York Marriott Marquis Broadway Ballroom in Times Square. The event and its 600 guests will celebrate the organization’s year-one successes, debut its first social enterprise and honor those helping to change the perception of homelessness in New York City. Canvas on Demand will provide 34 premium canvases featuring photos of the organization’s Residential Members, individuals experiencing homelessness, who have taken strides towards personal transformation.
“It is an honor to be representing Canvas on Demand as part of the First Annual Back on My Feet New York City Birthday Bash,” said Pennington. “I am grateful to work with Canvas on Demand in auctioning inspiring canvases that recognize the real-life transformations possible with Back on My Feet. I am proud to support Back on My Feet with Canvas on Demand and be part of this amazing movement!”
Recently, Pennington showcased exceptionally detailed and high-quality images from his Norwegian Design and Lifestyle Tour with Canvas on Demand. At the Back on My Feet New York City First Annual Birthday Bash, Pennington will highlight other equally exceptional canvases, which document the Back on My Feet New York City’s aptly named “Pacesetters” – Members who both defy the stereotypes of homelessness and have benefited from the program.
“Giving back is such a large part of our corporate mission,” said Tom Lotrecchiano, co-founder of Canvas on Demand. “We are honored to support the First Annual Back on My Feet New York City Birthday Bash. We see this as an opportunity for Canvas on Demand to make a worthwhile contribution to a great organization.”
All proceeds from the night will benefit Back on My Feet New York City in providing services to those experiencing homelessness.
“We are excited and so pleased to work with Canvas on Demand and Ty Pennington,” said Anne Mahlum, founder and chief executive officer of Back on My Feet. “This partnership is ideal for our celebration in New York and beyond, and we are honored to work with those who share a commitment to transforming lives.”

About Canvas on Demand
Canvas on Demand takes prized photographs and transforms them into an amazing canvas work of art. With multiple options, creators can select PhotoRealistic, bringing a photo to full life even more vivid than the original, or BrushStroke, which appears to have been produced by delicate strokes of an artist’s brush. Additionally, creators have two primary finishing options. The canvas can simply be stretched and framed to specifications, or it can be Gallery Wrapped, stretching the canvas over a wooden frame so that the edges of the material are drawn around it.
Canvas on Demand wants their customers to be so absolutely delighted that they become evangelists for them-telling everyone they know about the great experience they had at Canvas On Demand. Their customer service team is competent, friendly, and ready to assist customers in making decisions that will result in exactly the product they desire. The Canvas on Demand print production team likes to imagine that when a Canvas On Demand delivery comes to a doorstep, customers are speechless! More information can be found at canvasondemand.com.
